Who We Are
Solace House of the Ozarks is a 501(c)3 nonprofit charitable organization, seeking to provide care for the dying and their loved ones in a welcoming environment. We are a partnership of hospice agencies, medical providers, and community members, who serve together in a social model home.
What We Do
Solace House of the Ozarks is working to provide a welcoming home for those in the last month of life, whose care needs cannot be met in their own home. We provide 24-hour volunteer support to guests and their families who use our facility.
Solace House is not a medical facility. It does not replace hospice services or acute medical care. Following a social model of care, we connect volunteers from the community with the needs of our patients and their families.
Omega Home Network
Solace House of the Ozarks is a member of the Omega Home Network. The Omega Home Network is a national membership organization that promotes the development and expansion of community homes for dying people. Through information sharing, consultation, and educational offerings, they provide direct assistance to those developing and operating homes in their communities.
